AAMG, together with Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI), convened leaders from a range of academic art museums and libraries this past January to discuss strategies and agendas for collaboration. The meeting was hosted by the University of Miami (specifically the UM Libraries and the Lowe Art Museum) with generous support from both the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.
A report from the “Summit of Academic Art Museum and Libraries” is now available at: “Prospects and Strategies for Deep Collaboration in the Galleries, Libr” by Jill Deupi and Charles Eckman. The Summit agenda and presentation material will be made available at this URL during the coming days.
