Christina Yang is Deputy Director of Engagement and Curator of Education at the Williams College Museum of Art overseeing academic partnerships, digital humanities, interpretation, student engagement, and public programs. She specializes in interdisciplinary collaboration across emerging artistic fields including projects with Carrie Mae Weems, Jordan Stein, James + Jerome, Shaun Leonardo, Simone Leigh, Jon Rubin + Lenka Clayton, Tania Bruguera, Public Movement, Joan Jonas, Dean Moss/Laylah Ali and many more. She is the co-author of “How To Make Art With Places, People, and Things” for Guggenheim Social Practice (2018). Previously, she held positions at the Guggenheim Museum, Queens Museum, and The Kitchen. She is a Ph.D candidate in Performance Studies at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University and serves on the editorial board of Women & Performance, a journal of feminist theory.
