The Weatherspoon Art Museum on the campus of UNC Greensboro seeks to hire a Exhibitions and Events Coordinator. Reporting to the curator of academic programming and head of exhibitions, this position will be responsible for critical administrative work in support of exhibitions and events. Responsibilities will include development and maintenance of calendars and production schedules; planning events and managing day-of logistics, including coordination with catering; taking minutes at departmental meetings; managing departmental purchases and tracking budgets; writing copy for the museum website and newsletter; drafting, routing, and maintaining contracts; scheduling student interns; and assisting curators in adhering to exhibition deadlines. The successful candidate will be an excellent verbal and written communicator–one who enjoys working with a variety of people, will have an eye for details, and will be comfortable juggling multiple projects and timelines simultaneously. One or more years of full-time work experience in a comparable administrative role is required and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams is preferred..
