Registrar – Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA), University of North Florida

The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA) a cultural institute of the University of North Florida is seeking a Registrar.

The Registrar is part of the Curatorial Team at MOCA Jacksonville. Reporting to the Senior Curator, the Registrar is responsible for the safeguarding of the collection and works on loan. S/he is responsible for the storage, shipping and proper display of all art objects, including collection items, incoming loans, traveling exhibitions and loans to other museums; ensuring at all times that the works are handled and displayed appropriately. Together with the Curator, s/he reviews and updates insurance, collections and loan policies and procedures, including long-term capital upgrade needs and Emergency Response and Disaster Preparedness.
