AAMG Students

Thanks to a generous grant from the Kress Foundation and conference sponsors, AAMG is pleased to provide ten (10) $500 student scholarships to attend the AAMG Annual Conference in Miami, FL. Interested undergraduate or graduate students should submit a letter of interest to Jill Hartz at hartz@uoregon.edu by April 6, 2018.

The application letter should address:
1) Why the applicant wishes to attend.
2) What specifically the applicant wishes to gain from the conference.
3) How attendance will further the applicant’s career and/or educational goals.

In exchange for financial support, recipients agree to submit a 300 word editorial related to the conference by July 15, 2018 to communications@aamg-us.org.

AAMG First-time Presenter Grants

AAMG is pleased to invite first-time conference presenters to apply for this special funding opportunity. Maximum amount of support is $1,000 per applicant. Please send a letter of request to Jill Hartz at hartz@uoregon.edu that includes your goals in attending the conference and budget by April 21. Grant recipients are required to submit a final report detailing their use of funds and conference experience by July 31, 2018.

Please note: this grant is open to all AAMG members and is separate from the student scholarship program.
