The Weatherspoon Art Museum on the campus of UNC Greensboro seeks to hire a full-time Visitor Services and Security Associate.
This position ensures that all museum visitors have a positive experience while maintaining a safe and secure environment and protecting the museum’s collection and loans. This includes answering questions, enforcing rules, looking out for suspicious behavior, providing assistance, and engaging visitors about works of art, museum programs, and how to support the museum.
The successful candidate should have a minimum high school degree. Should have a genuine interest in communicating with members of the public and providing assistance to visitors. Should have basic computer skills and proficiency. Should exhibit customer service to serve the needs of a large and diverse community. A commitment to support the director in developing a vibrant and engaged community by promoting the museum’s strategic framework and goals.
